OG Kush emerged in the early 1990s from a Chemdawg cutting crossed with Hindu Kush pollen, likely refined in Florida before moving to Southern California's San Fernando Valley. Its exact lineage remains debated but its impact is undeniable: OG Kush defined West Coast cannabis culture and became the genetic backbone of an enormous family of strains including GSC, Gelato, Wedding Cake, and dozens more. The characteristic fuel-and-lemon nose with heavy euphoric effects set a new standard.
