Terms of Service

By accessing or using Encycloweedia (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement. We reserve the right to modify these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 21 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant you are at least 21. We reserve the right to verify age and terminate access to underage users.

Encycloweedia is a cannabis strain encyclopedia and informational reference tool. The Service provides a searchable database of strain information, comparison tools, and an AI-powered informational assistant (Buddy the Budtender) for Pro subscribers.

The Service is NOT:

• A medical advisory service
• A dispensary or facilitator of cannabis transactions
• A substitute for professional medical advice
• A legal advisory service

You agree to provide accurate information and maintain account confidentiality. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

The Service offers free and Pro tiers. Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis and auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods. All payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card details.

IMPORTANT: The price displayed at enrollment is the price you will be charged. If you encounter any price discrepancy, do not complete the transaction and contact us immediately.

You agree not to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Interfere with the performance or integrity of the Service
• Scrape or use automated means to extract data without our written consent
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service
• Impersonate any person, entity, or Encycloweedia itself
• Use the Service to facilitate illegal cannabis activity

All content and features of the Service are the property of Encycloweedia, protected by copyright and trademark law. By submitting content (reviews, suggestions), you grant Encycloweedia a non-exclusive royalty-free license to use that content in connection with the Service.

“Buddy the Budtender” is a trademark of Encycloweedia.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENCYCLOWEEDIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Encycloweedia and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Before formal legal action, the parties agree to attempt informal resolution for a period of 30 days. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be settled by binding arbitration administered under applicable arbitration rules in a mutually agreed jurisdiction. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

• Cannabis remains a Schedule I controlled substance under federal law. Encycloweedia does not encourage illegal activity.
• Cannabis legality varies by jurisdiction. Users are solely responsible for compliance with applicable local, state, and national laws.
• The Service does not endorse or recommend any cannabis product.
• Health warnings: Cannabis use may impair coordination and judgment, cause respiratory issues, create dependency potential, and interact with medications. Do not operate vehicles or heavy machinery under the influence.

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Encycloweedia regarding the Service.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may assign ours without restriction.
• Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
